Confirming Actor's Availability (1)

I sent an email out to the student that we would like to play the role of the victim in our Thriller to ensure that she was available and happy to take part.

Confirming Location (3)

Using the first draft, as a group we created a second draft which we will send to the Reverend:

Confirming Location (2)

Our next step was to email the Church to ask for permission. Here is the first draft of the email:
As a group, we decided that this email was too informal and that the information given was not sufficient and detailed and that it contained irrelevant information which could be confusing for the Reverend. We now need to re-draft an email to send to the Reverend which is detailed and clear and is written in a much more professional and formal manner.

Confirming Location (1)

In order to film at St Peter and St Paul's Church, we need to ask for permission first as the content of our film may be deemed as offensive in a place of worship.

We went onto the website:

This website is particularly useful as it has contact details and so we can use these to get in touch with the church to ask for permission to film there.

Location: Where

One of the suggestions of locations that we have found is the Saint Peters and Saint Paul’s church in Ewhurst because it is a nearby location to school so is easily accessible. Another thing that makes this a good location is that fact that it has the right aesthetics and look for what my group has in mind in terms of the interior of the church and the colours and furniture.

Location: What

In our opening sequence we only need one location; the interior of a church. This should make the filming process go along a lot smoother and a lot quicker because of the use of one location and setting. The interior of the church should mirror the dark and mysterious plot and also create tension through the use of the lighting and the aesthetics of the church.
